    Since Pip has been my Personal Trainer, I have noticed results which has kept me focused and motivated.     I am a 62 year old woman who just wants to be fit! I have had Personal Training with Pip for a few months and found her to be excellent. I am not without my problems, main one being an ongoing knee injury. Pip has helped come up with exercises for me to help strengthen my knee, particularly after surgery. To the point where I have just completed a ½ marathon (walking). Pip is great to train with and makes each session fun and productive at the

    same time. She has empathy and has a knack of reading your mood. I have thoroughly enjoyed my PT sessions with her.

    I always enjoy when Pip is working, I could be having a bad day and Pip never fails to make me laugh. Pips inclusivity has made me feel very welcome, when I first started this time again I was very shy and didn’t really speak to any one and now I can confidently walk in and it feels almost like a second home.

    I have a bad back and struggle with PCOS, I am always so pleased with Pips professionalism to take these into consideration when we are doing PT or when creating a new plan. I love that Pip will accomodate the workout routines to specifically cater for what I am cable of (of course with an encouraging push). I think Pip is one of the main reasons I have stayed so consistently at the gym this time around.     I joined Fit4life to help with strengthing my knee to get back to full fitness. The support I received from Colleen our trainer and the other lovely ladies there has been amazing. I go 3 days a week and look forward to and

    enjoy my workouts. Colleen changes the routines regularly which keeps classes interesting. I enjoy the company of the other ladies and we encourage each other to do our best and we have a bit of a laugh.

    Frank Connolly

    I started going to Frank many years ago. Not to improve my body shape or increase my fitness level but to simply keep the body mobile. With back, knee and hip problems, doing my favourite things like tramping, gardening and golf were becoming a challenge at times. A surgeon once told me to give up golf.

     

    Once I started my regular PT sessions with Frank, with his in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, we have worked together to build my strength to support affected areas.

     

    Franks enthusiasm and positive attitude keeps me coming back and I feel safe in the knowledge that Frank knows what he is talking about. He frequently tweaks my technique to avoid any further injuries.

    My muscle and core strength has improved to the point where I no longer have regular back pain. My flexibility has improved as well as my nutrition awareness.

     

    I measure Frank's success on the fact that he has kept me mobile and doing everything I physically want to do. I have no hesitation on recommending Frank to anyone, especially those who have challenges.

    I was introduced to Frank on the 16th February 2023 after I phoned him to see if he could help me with a strength and balance programme at Fit 4 Life in Ashburton. I don't find it easy doing the programme but he gives me the confidence, encourages me to have a go and makes me feel I have achieved something at the end of the session. Frank is very passionate about exercising and his explanation of a skill is very easily understood. He believes in his client's ability and is always there to support.

     

    Frank is a very special person, presents himself well, has a very pleasant manner, shows a special interest in his client's well-being, always cheerful and encouraging. He has the ability to take the pain out of the gym session, by engaging in conversation about anything that is happening in the world, health, and general interests in life.

     

    The staff at Fit 4 Life are always friendly and encouraging. They are all passionate about their role, easily indentified by their uniform and the equipment and atmosphere is always clean, tidy and very welcoming.

     

    The progress I have made over the last 12 months, and is still going, is amazing, all thanks to Franks commitment and encouragement.
